Grant, Robert Oscar – Dec 3, 1930 ~ Sept 9, 2022. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Robert Oscar Grant, aged 91 at Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Center. Born in South Williamston, he was the son of the late Oscar and Jennie (Ellis) Grant. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce, brother Donald and sister Pauline. Surviving are his daughters, Sheila (Lou); Patti (Dwayne); Nancy (Mike); Elizabeth (Mike); sons, Robert (Tammy); Gary (Cathy); and Christopher along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He served in the Armed Forces and retired as a civilian at CFB Greenwood. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown. Rev. Leon Langille officiating. There will be no reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.   2. My Blessings go out to the Grant Family Sheila & Pattie and the whole Grant Family. I Served with Bob in the Forces for 20 years. Wish I had known earlier of His Passing would have attended His Funeral Service would love to make contact with the Family somehow with Pattie and Sheila who I did get to know. My Prayers and Love to all.
