Robert N. Anderson – age 76, formerly of Mascot, departed this life peacefully at the home of his daughter and son-in-law on Thursday, March 24, 2022. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Allied Signal.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth Anderson; stepson, Vincent Glasscock; sons, Robbie and Ricky; parents, Joyce and Henry Bogle, Sr.; brother, Michael Bogle; and sisters Betty Mincey and Glenda Trentham.
Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Robin (Hugh) W. Holt, Jr.; granddaughter, Macey Holt Pearson (Samuel); grandson, Liam Holt; brothers, Henry (Pam) Bogle, Jr., Jimmy Dale Bogle; sisters, Fern Smith, Brenda Watkins (Guy Fitzgerald), and Jackie Hasty; several nieces and nephews – especially the ones he liked to aggravate the most: Jacky Smith, Sheila Bundren, Angie Hall, and Jeremy Bogle; and his loyal companions, Toby, Bella and Snickers who never left his side. The family would like to thank Blount Memorial Home Health and Amedisys Hospice for their excellent care and guidance, and special caregiver and friend, Kimberly Rogers.
The family will meet 12:45 PM on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 1:00 PM graveside service with Rev. Charles Harkleroad officiating. Arrangements by Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999. www.bridgesfuneralhome.com
