Robert’s Obituary
GOSSON, Robert “Bobby” Lee ~ 81, of Sandy Cove, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Tiddville, Digby Co., he was a son of the late John and Gertie Mae (Frost) Gosson.
Robert was an avid fisherman who enjoyed playing crib, loved a good game of cards and enjoyed a good laugh. Robert loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by daughters, Roxane Gosson and Shawna Gosson, both of Digby County; stepdaughter, Toby Owles (Rob Smith), Cobourg, Ont.; sisters, Rena (Dan Stark), Digby, Beverly (Joe Gallant), Cole Harbor, Wanda (Wayne Boliver), Tiddville, Trish (Tom Ryan), Little River; brothers, Wade Sullivan (Lawna), Freeport, Stephen, Windsor; grandchildren, Jacob, Maddison, and Emily, all of Cobourg, Ont. And many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Joan and brother, Rickey Gosson.
In keeping with Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, June 11, 2022 in Hillcrest Cemetery, Little River with Pastor Kelly Tidd officiating.
