Robert Leawood Forsey 2022

Obituary
Robert Leawood Forsey
December 13th, 1941- April 13th, 2022
Dementia finally got the best of Bob. He passed quietly after a valiant battle. Bob leaves his wife, Theresa; step son, Christopher Linton (Albina); son, Clyde; daughter, Margaret (Mike). Also, sister, Judy (Harry) and extended family members.
He also leaves lifelong friends, members of PWC class of 59’, Guards Athletic association and his fraternity brothers. Bob is predeceased by his parents, Philip and Doris (Cobb) Forsey; brothers, Gary and Howard; sisters, Joan and Phyllis; an infant sister and nephew Bill.
Bob graduated from both University of Ottawa and Memorial University. He worked for several provincial government departments, retiring as an education officer from the Rooms. He was an educator, a writer, and an avid reader. He was proud of his role as shop steward with NAPE. Wine women and song, the Maple Leaf’s and a good game of pool, not always in that order were his favorite things. The family would like to thank Pleasant View Towers 3NW, the security guards, cleaners, food service, LPN’s, nurses and doctors for their care and obvious affection for Bob and extending care and concern for Theresa. Also, for the great neighbors we had on Connemara Place and have on Kenna’s Hill. Cremation has taken place. We will celebrate Bob’s life at a later date when we can get the children in one place!
