Peacefully, on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Northumberland Hills Hospital, in his 71st year. Beloved husband of the late Debra (nee Spry). Son of the late Ernest and Winnifred (nee Fisher). Loving father of Jennifer (Aaron Crawley) and Nancy (Payton Whitney). Cherished grandfather of Charlotte. Dear brother of Nancy (the late Mac Campbell) Crowe, Joan (the late Wayne) Davidson and Don Robison. Hardy will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, fellow Legion members, the Kelly’s crew and the Friday golfing boys. A celebration of Robert’s life will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the Cobourg Legion Branch #133. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #133 Poppy Trust Fund would be appreciated by the family.
