Robert J. R. Logie, of Stratford passed away in his sleep at the age of 88. Born in Kilmarnock, Scotland. Leaving his devoted wife Carol Logie (Murray), daughters Caroline Johnson (Mark “JJ”) of Stratford and Paulene Shipley (Mark) of Ilderton, grandchildren Rebecca McGinley (Mark) of Kitchener, Josh Johnson (Barbara) of Stratford, Dillan and Julia Shipley of Ilderton, step-children Ken Murray (Margaret) and Edwyn Murray (Janice) of Stratford, Karen Glitz (Sean) of Tavistock, step-grandchildren Justin Rose of Yellowknife and Jasmine Rose of Waterloo, sister Jule MacFarlane (Tommy) of Scotland, brothers-in-law William Bruce (Barb) of Scotland, Sheena Prentice (Davey) of Oakville, Don Logie (Mary) of Scotland, Joe Nethercott (Jackie) of St. Marys, Gary Bernard (Elaine) of Stratford, sister-in-law Mari Bruce of England, longtime friends Richard and Irene Ferguson. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Mary (nee Bruce) Logie (2002), brother Bill (late Rita) Logie, sister Janet (late Andy) Lennon and brothers-in-law Jim Bruce and Alex Kennedy all of Scotland.
A private family Graveside Service will be held in the Military Section of Avondale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Stratford General Hospital or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #8 through the W. G.
