Revert, Robert George
Robert passed away peacefully at home, with the love of his life by his side. He was born in St. Pierre et Miquelon and moved to Halifax in 1960 where he met his soul mate, future business partner and wife, Alfreda. Robert was a well-respected, hard-working visionary with an innovative spirit. In 1983, he established Bob Revert Securities, with the support of Alfreda and his loyal employee, Terry Muise. Together they provided the highest quality security service to various customers throughout Nova Scotia. He also co-owned Atlantic Telecom and Windmill Properties. Robert was known for being a kind, quiet, gentle soul but would never shy away from sharing a good glass of cognac with friends. He led a full life by enjoying reading, watching movies, chats with Terry and shopping with Alfreda. He is survived by his wife, Alfreda; brothers, Jacques (Francoise); Albert; Andre (Sharon); sister, Jacqueline ; sister in law, Pierrette. He was predeceased by his parents, Amedee and Adele (Parsons) Revert; sister, Adele (John); brothers, Jacques (in infancy) ; Amedee; brother in law , Ervin; sister in law, Paulette. With feelings of admiration for Robert’s life, there will be a visitation Thursday, February 10,2022 from 1-3 p.m. in the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be Friday, February 11,2022 at 2 p.m. also in the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Bruce Hubbard officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Saint Michael’s Parish Cemetery, Wedgeport or charity of your choice. Due to Covid -19 restrictions seating will be limited to 50 , with family given priority seating. Proof of vaccination is required for both visitation and funeral service.
