Obituary
Robert “Bob” Singleton, passed away at the age of 64 on February 12th, 2022, at the North Bay Regional Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
Bob was beloved husband to Debbie Singleton and devoted dad to three wonderful sons Chris, Jamie, and Brandon who were his greatest accomplishment. Bob was so proud of his daughters-in-law Tara, Andrea, Megan, and Sarah. Treasured grandfather of five grandchildren who were his pride and joy: Jacob, Blake, Henry, Luke, and Laylah. Cherished uncle to Kimberly French and family. Bob is predeceased by his parents Ruby and James (Jim) Singleton, sister Deborah Beaudry, and brother James Singleton.
Bob had a love for skiing with his family and spent numerous years volunteering in the Mattawa and North Bay ski patrol. Bob retired from the Ontario Northland in railway after 35 years of service working in various capacities throughout his time. Outside of his career, Bob had a passion for spending quality time on the water with family and friends as an avid boating enthusiast and looked forward to projects at the family cottage. Bob valued making memories in Florida each winter alongside his wife Debbie, where he spent time enjoying the sunshine with dear friends and several hobbies including pickle ball. Bob’s charisma and witty cantor were ever present as he lived his life fully.
There will be a celebration of life in the warmer weather at the family cottage to honour Bob’s memory.
In honour of Bob, donations are appreciated to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation thepmcf.ca/.
