STENSON, Robert Ford March 21, 1944 – November 15, 2022
It is with profound sadness that the family of Bob Stenson announce his peaceful passing at Lakefield Extendicare on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. He is predeceased by his parents Bernice and Fred Stenson. He leaves behind and will be dearly missed by his wife Doreen and son Shayne, brother Art Stenson (Linda), sister Sally Carter, and all his nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob grew up on the family farm on Clonsillla Avenue. He worked for many years as a surveyor for Greer, Galloway & Associates. He loved fishing and boating at the family cottage on Stoney Lake. After retirement you would see Bob selling produce at the Peterborough Farmers Market. He spent his final years at Lakefield Extendicare where he received wonderful care. Visitation will take place at the Highland Park Funeral Centre on Saturday, November 26th from 1:00 to 2:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service in the Highland Chapel at 2:00pm. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated by the family or, plant a tree or sapling in Bob’s memory.
