Robert “Bob Allen Budnick October 3 2022

Obituary
Peacefully, with family by his side, Robert (Bob) Budnick, 67, passed away on Oct. 3, 2022 at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton. Beloved husband of Lindsay (nee Poutney), loving father of Lauren (Derek), and proud grandpa of Reese and Miles, Bob is survived by brothers Jerry and Roy, sister Jan, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by parents Alex and Florence, brothers John, Bill, Leo, Fred, Ed, Dave, Lorne and Bernie, and sisters Elaine, Florence and Marie.
Born and raised in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, Bob married Lindsay in 1977 and they remained in Hudson Bay until retirement took them to Regina, Saskatchewan. Together, they moved to Port Elgin, Ontario in 2017 to be closer to Lauren, Derek and their grandchildren.
Bob was always full of life and laughter, making friends wherever he went. He enjoyed watching and playing sports and was a devoted fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He was happiest attending Rider games with his wife, out for coffee with friends, tinkering in the yard, perusing the car lot and making breakfast for his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour, genuine kindness and positive outlook on life.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Grey Bruce Health Services (Owen Sound and Southampton) and the London Health Sciences Centre for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Robert “Bob Allen Budnick October 3 2022..
