Allan passed away on March 27, 2022, at the Kelowna General Hospital, at the age of 86 years.
Born in Fort Frances, ON on September 16, 1935, Allan completed his schooling in Barwick, Emo, and Fort Frances, Ontario. After teaching public school for two years he went to college and took the ministry. He was known for his passionate preparation of sermons and teaching religion classes. He pastored in various communities in western Canada and taught theology for six years at Canadian Union College (now Burman University) in Lacombe, AB. Allan was quick-witted, enjoyed sports, and was an avid reader.
Left to treasure Allan’s memory are his wife, Dorothy; daughter Joy (Dale) Sismey; his siblings: Norma (Fred) deJong and Phyllis Robertson; as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Althea, in 2012.

A private graveside service was held with family present to lay Allan to rest.
A Memorial Service will be on MONDAY, APRIL 11, 2022, AT 1:00 PM (PDT) AT THE KELOWNA SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH, 1130 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC. If you are unable to attend in person, please join the family online by Livestream at the time of the service. Livestream link will be available prior to service.
