The death of Rita Mallaley of Lorne occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital July 11, 2022 at the age of 91. Born in Lorne, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Ida (Godin) Carrier.
Rita is survived by her children; Muriel Godin (Marcel) of Lorne, Weldon (Alexanderine) of Lorne, Roy (Donna) of Archibald, Percy (Lisa Carrier) of Lorne, Perry (Christine) of Listugui, Quebec; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren as well as her sister Muriel Godin of Caplan, Quebec. She was predeceased by her husband Xavier; daughter Eunice: son Lester, grandson Lance as well as her siblings Joseph David, Elizabeth, George, Harold, Leona, Willard, Roy and Percy.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
