Passed in Montreal on October 31, 2022 at the age of 77.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley Zucker. Deeply missed by his daughter Katrina, his stepchildren Sara and Daniel, Sara’s children Emma and Mia, as well as his brothers David and Steve, and friends.
Richard was born in Minnesota, and moved to Montreal when he was a young man. For 35 years he taught anthropology at Champlain College.
Richard was a family man through and through. He enjoyed his quiet life with his wife, fishing with his brothers, trips to NYC and London to be with his grandchildren, summer visits from his daughter, and brunches with his stepson.
His children are forever grateful for the love, warmth and security that Richard and Shirley provided in their home on Brock North.
Richard was buried beside Shirley at the Mont-Royal Cemetery.
