Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Riem Tamboer passed away at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Cornelious. Loving mother of Jane Jackson (Randy Glazier). Cherished grandmother of Melissa (Kim), Heather (Barry), Sara (Korry) and Cory. Treasured great-grandmother of Kenley, David, Aubany, Aiden and Evan. Dear sister of the late Teke (Tina). Riem loved feeding animals, especially chipmunks and birds. She adored her cat, Jessie. Riem loved watching the Maple Leafs, doing puzzles, and attending bingo night. She will be remembered for her love of Christmas. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice or the Sarnia & District Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
