Obituary of Richard Labelle
Richard Labelle, age 54, passed away peacefully on the 6th of May, after a short battle with Leukemia. Loving husband to Vicci Gauthier and devoted father to Derrick, Tehra (Adam), Kyle, Stephanie (Phil), Ricci (Adam), Carleigh (Sebastian), Danielle, Dylan, Gerrilynne and River. Son of Francine (John). Reunited with father Gerald (Nancy). Admired son-in-law of Claude and Linda Gauthier. Cherished brother of Jean Paul (Tricia), Carl, Dwayne and Laurie. Brother-in-law to Brad, Michelle (Mel), Suzanne (Jay) and Chad (Danielle). Adored grandpa to Deon, Alexus, Logan, Ava, Jamie, Devyn, Archie, Michaela and Ivory. Richard will be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family along with the baseball community. Special thank you to the nursing staff at Met and Jurvanski Hospital.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 13, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 3 pm. Cremation to follow. As Richard’s final wishes, please come as you are! Dress in casual clothing or your favourite sports attire. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Mark Preece Family House, 191 Barton Street East, Hamilton, ON.
