Obituary of Richard Andrew Truppe
It is with heavy hearts the family of Richard Truppe announces his passing on December 4th, 2022 at the age of 60. Richard leaves behind his beloved wife Kari Kennedy. Cherished father to Kaeleigh Phillips, Katrina Jeromkin (Chris) and Kameron Jeromkin. Proud Opa to Aurora Phillips. He leaves a hole in the heart of his faithful hockey watching cat, Stubby and his two other fur children, Edel and Arie. He will be missed by siblings Joe (Crystal), Bill (Cathy), Elfie (Roger), Ann, Trudy, Susaan (Dan), Walter (Susan), Jennifer (Stan), Franz (Lisa), Conrad and Heidi. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Donna Truppe.
Richard blessed everyone who knew him with his selfless devotion. He loved his friends and all of his life’s adventures. He lived for weekends spent with family at the cottage, leading an ATV ride through the bush with his many nieces, nephews and siblings in tow. His expertise in the trade of wood finishing will leave a niche not soon filled by another craftsman. His laughter and love of ridiculous taunting and joking with those he loved will be missed greatly. Sharing his stories or his name will bring a drop of sunshine when remembering his smile, giving heart and unconditional love. We are so grateful that he chose to share his lifetime selflessly with those he leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, a random act of kindness may be spread. Those wishing to leave a donation in his memory may do so to the Strathroy Middle General Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Dachshund Rescue. Online condolences and donations may be made at www.strathroyfuneralhome.com.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Richard

My sympathy for the family(s) of Richard. I worked with him for a few years when he worked at KML…then he left to pursue his passion of wood finishing. I remember he like to joke around and get people going and then see a little smile and u can tell he was thinking…gotcha lol. Rest in peace Richard and some day we will all see u again…Cheers!!
