Obituary
It is with great sorrow that the family of Rick Lajoie announces his passing at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, Sunday morning, November 27,2022 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Sally Lajoie (nee Acton) for 34 years and proud father of Michael. Son of the late Adrien “Buster” and Evelyn (nee Loach) Lajoie.
Dear brother of Wayne (Francoise), Norman (Joyce) and Stanley Lajoie. Special “brother” to Debbie Hermiston (nee Ethier). Much loved “out-law” of Jayne Denomme (late Nelson), Bill Acton (Margaret), John Acton (Karen), and Joel Acton (Sibylle). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by 21 nieces and nephews. Rick was a great husband, father, friend and a cheeky son-in-law to the late Bill and Irene Acton.
Rick loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, was an excellent golfer who had a drive envied by many, but most importantly his family came first and foremost.
As per Rick’s request, there will be no funeral. If you wish, a donation may be made in Rick’s memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or a charity of your choice.
