Obituary
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our brother Richard John Lawson MacDonald on March 4, 2022. Born in Fredericton, he was the son of the late Harold and Marie (Beaton) MacDonald. Richard was a fun and out-going guy who enjoyed socializing with his friends at Dooley’s whenever he got the chance. He will be deeply missed by his siblings: Brian MacDonald of Quispamsis, Jo-Anne MacDonald (Bruce) of Saint John, Shawn MacDonald of Bridgewater, NS, and Lynn Marie MacDonald-Schurman (Steve) of Hantsport, NS; as well as by his nieces, nephews, extended family members and his good friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NS (506-646-2424). As per Richard’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
