Dobson, Richard Hockey (Munn) known to all as “Hawk”. It is with great sadness that we announce that Hawk went to his Heavenly home on July 17, 2022. He was born in Hazelton, NB on July 26, 1937.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Beatrice; his children: Darrell, Carolyn (Russell) and Michelle (Duane); one sister, Rae; six grandchildren: Rebecca (Ahmed), Amanda, Dylan (Sarah), Jordan (Lacey), Nadine (Gabe) and Mia; two chosen granddaughters: Kate and Christina (Matt); and one great-grandson Owen. He was predeceased by his mother, Grace (Beek) (Munn) Dobson; father, Charles Munn; and adopted father, John Dobson. He was also predeceased by siblings (mother’s side): Patricia, Nathaniel, Wesley, Milburn, Reginald, Mable, Juanita, Marie, Phyllis, Nora, Christina and Nola; (father’s side): Reginald, Muriel, Greta, Adrain, Madeline, Bessie, Eleanor, Charlie and Weldon.
Hawk was a man known for being true to his Christian beliefs. He worked in many fields during his years, the last one doing body work and he continued to do it periodically even after he retired. He was also known to have an open door to anyone that wanted to stop in for a cup of tea or a meal no matter the time of day or night. Always willing to help out in any way that he could. He will be greatly missed by all including his furry little pal Zoe. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather.
