It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rhoda Lillian Newton on April 17, 2022, in Biggar.
Rhoda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother with a kind and gentle spirit.
Rhoda is survived by her children; son Jerry (Teresa), daughter Rhonda (Carl), three grandchildren Kirsten, Kelcie (Kyle) and Kailey and great grandchild Amelia.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Gary in 1993 and Baby Angel Lochlan in 2021.
Rhoda worked as a Care Aide at Biggar Diamond Lodge. She dedicated 25 years of her life passionately caring for the elders. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and most of all her beautiful grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. Rhoda enjoyed spending time in her flower gardens, doing crafts and snuggling on the couch to watch a good game of curling. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by family and friends.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the nursing staff at Biggar Long Term Care. Your passionate care and kindness will forever be remembered.
At the request of Rhoda there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Biggar District Health Centre.
Arrangements entrusted to Martens Warman Funeral Home (306) 934-4888.
