Reverend Cindy Desilets
With heavy hearts our family shares the passing of Reverend Cindy Desilets on Feb 15th, 2022 at her home in Timmins, Ontario.
Predeceased by her husband Remi, parents Tommy and Betty Hay and younger brother Ken. Survived by special friend Stan, brother Warren, (Sharon,) son Jean Paul, (Julie,) daughter Cathy, (Tom,) and son Richard, (Debbie.) And lovingly remembered by grandchildren Shyanne, Jessie, Nicole, Summer, Logan and many nieces and nephews.
Cindy will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, compassion and dedication to serving the community through her faith. She was a talented preacher and had a special gift for connecting with people in a way that made them feel valued and understood. Her ministry reflected her deeply held beliefs that we are all welcome at God’s table and that, above all, God is LOVE.
In these challenging times may we share with you one last time the words that Reverend Cindy liked to close her services with.
“Who does God love? EVERYONE.” Be kind to one another.
