Reuben Primeau Sunday August 14th 2022

Primeau, Reuben
1923-2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Reuben J. Primeau on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Heartwood Long Term Care Home in his 100th year after a full life. Beloved husband of the late Rita Primeau (nee Taillon). Loving father of Wayne Primeau (Colleen) of Kingston. Cherished grandpa of Jeffrey Primeau (Jennifer) of Kingston and great-grandpa of Elliott Gray Primeau. Reuben is predeceased by his parents; Louis Primeau and Edna Primeau (nee Plamondon) and by one brother; Garnet Primeau. Reuben was an Honorary life member of the KOFC #755 and will be remembered for his sense of humor, zest for life and warm smile. We would like to express our profound gratitude to Zee, Naz, Anita and all others that provided care and support so compassionately over the years to Reuben at Marlborough Place II. Special thanks to Dr. Maggie Yu and the staff of the Cornwall Community Hospital and Heartwood Long Term Care for the care and support during this last chapter of Reuben’s life. As per family’s request masques are required for the visitation and the funeral. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 19th, 2022 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Boulerice Funeral Home, 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in St. Columban Cemetery. Memorial donations to MS Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
