Obituary
It is with profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend on Friday March 18, 2022 at the age of 85 years.
Predeceased by his loving wife Wilmot (2014); parents Archibald and Annie; brothers Crosbie and Joseph; sister Ethel and brothers-in-laws: David Street, Lawrence Porter and Barry Scott.
Leaving to mourn with broken hearts are his children Ruby (Norman) Locke, Derrick, Stephen, Rodney (Jennifer Grandy) Marilyn and Lisa; grandchildren: Matthew Locke, Jessica Young, Megan Clarke, William Clarke and Chase Clarke-Mesher; great grandchild: Vardo Ingram; siblings: Shirley (Lilly), Walter (Sandra), Sarah Porter, Becky (Ken) Fagan, Louise Scott, Ethel Street, Audrey (Gary) Dawe and Judy (Gerry) Churchill and sister-in-law Maureen Clarke. Also, extended family and friends.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave. on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 7:00 -9:00 pm and Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 2:00-6:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 11:30 am from Barrett’s Mt. Pearl Chapel. To virtually attend the service please visit www.barretts.ca and follow the link provided.
As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made in Reuben’s memory to the Janeway Children’s Hospital.
