MONGEAU, Rene – Mr. Rene Mongeau at Cornwall Hospital on Thursday March 10, 2022 at the age of 92 years. Loving husband of late Reina Mongeau (née Joncas). Loving father of Richard (Carol) of St-Hippolyte, Qc. And Paul (Lise) of Rockland. Cherished grandfather of Marc, Luc, Late Chantale, André and great-grandfather of Charles-Etienne, Justin, Laurence, Julia, Elliot and Antoine. Predeceased by his parents Elphege and Ada Mongeau (née Lepage) and his sisters Alice Nadon (Rene), Cecile Martin (Kenneth), Lorraine Briere (Gilles) and Jeannine Abrams (James). Cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church on Saturday March 26, 2022 at 11:00AM.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Heart Institute. As a Memorial to Rene, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live. Condolences may be made online
