Rena Ann Roxborough ( nee O’Hara) passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the age of 68 years. Rena was a loving wife, mother, Grandma, sister, Auntie, friend and mentor, who had an endless energy and a desire to serve others.
Born in Meaford, Ontario to Robert and Joan O’Hara, Rena succumbed to a 15-month battle with cancer, passing away peacefully in her sleep in Calgary, Alberta with her sister Shamrock by her bedside. Rena’s career included twenty five years as a dental assistant, seven years as a foster mother and fifteen years as a store manager of the church’s distribution center.
Rena will be lovingly remembered by the love of her life, Scott ( married August 1, 1988; sealed together for eternity August 18, 2001), daughter, Kelly; her son, Robert; grandson, Jasper; sister, Shamrock; and her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
There will be a viewing December 28th at Pierson’s Funeral Service ( 4121-17th Avenue SE Calgary, AB) at 6:30-8:30pm
A Funeral Service will be held for Rena at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Foothills Stake Center (30 Everstone Boulevard SW, Calgary) on Friday, December 30,2022. There will be a meet the family from 10:00 am – 10:40 with the service starting at 11:00 am.
