Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Réjean ‘Ti-Rej’ Blier, à l’âge de 67 ans, le samedi 9 avril 2022, à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner. Les gens qui connaissaient Ti-Rej se rappelleront de lui comme un gars qui aimait jaser avec fierté de son travail en forêt. Réjean aimait la chasse et bretter dans son garage. Il a passé de longues heures également, remplies de plaisir à pêcher sur la rivière Opasatika avec son épouse et sa fille ‘Ti-Loute’. Dans les dernières années, il avait découvert le camping ou il s’occupait à nourrir le feu.
Réjean laisse pour pleurer sa perte son épouse, Gilberte, de Kapuskasing; sa fille, Marie-Josée (Mathieu Lamadeleine), de Gatineau; sa mère, Yvette Dion de Kapuskasing; son frère, Maurice Blier (Sylvianne) de Kapuskasing; et une demi-sœur, Lucille Slight de Rivière-du-Loup. Il fut prédécédé par son père, Donat Blier; son beau-père, Alphonse Dion; quatre frères : Gilles Blier, René Blier, Jean-Paul Blier et Normand Blier; et trois sœurs : Antoinette Caron, Pauline Blier et Agathe Blier.
Afin de respecter les vœux de Réjean, il n’y aura pas de service funéraire. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à la Société canadienne du cancer comme témoignage de sympathie. ©
We regret to announce the death of Réjean “Rej” Blier at the age of 67 years, on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Sensenbrenner Hospital. Everyone who knew Rej will remember a man who took great pride in the work that he did in the bush. He enjoyed hunting and puttering around in his garage. He also spent many long hours enjoying fishing on the Opasatika River with his spouse and daughter “Ti-Loute”. In the last few years, Rej had discovered camping where he spent hours feeding the fire.
Réjean is survived by his wife, Gilberte, of Kapuskasing; his daughter, Marie-Josée (Mathieu Lamadeleine) of Gatineau; his mother, Yvette Dion of Kapuskasing; his brother, Maurice Blier (Sylvianne) of Kapuskasing; and a step-sister, Lucille Slight of Rivière-du-Loup.
Réjean was predeceased by his father, Donat Blier; step-father, Alphonse Dion; four brothers: Gilles Blier, René Blier, Jean-Paul Blier and Normand Blier; three sisters: Antoinette Caron, Pauline Blier et Agathe Blier.
Respecting Réjean’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy. ©
