It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Reginald Audit on Sunday February 20, 2022 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury at the age of 88.
Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Merella (DeGrechie), his son Normand, his daughters Annette Madore (Laurent) and Claudette Giroux (André). Loving grandfather of Dennis and Charlene Audit, Caroline Madore (Jeff Bertrand), Robert Madore (Virginia Madon), and Joey Giroux (Émilie Chaput).
He absolutely adored his 4 great grandchildren Colton Bertrand, Léo & Mika Madore and Mattéo Giroux. He also leaves to mourn his Grand fur baby Lexi who knew exactly who to go to for treats. Survived by his sister Gertrude Vallée (Fernand-deceased) and his brother Roland (Mae). Also survived by a very special nephew Mike Audit (Jennie).
Predeceased by his parents Thomas & Viola (Firlotte), his brothers Melvin, Raymond, Yvon, Ghislain and Claude as well as his sister Lina Lemore.
Born in Jacquet River, New Brunswick, he moved to Timmins in 1957 where he worked in the mining industry for 10 years. He then opened his own business, Reg’s Pump Repair, repairing and installing gas pumps until his retirement.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Remembrance donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society or the Timmins & District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
