Obituary of Ray Pichette
Pichette, Raymond John of Courtland passed away at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Friday, December 31, 2021 in his 69 th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Burnham) Pichette. Loving father of Jennifer Knelsen(Dave) of Aylmer, Joy Cahill(Dave) of Brantford, Jill Woodford(Steve) of Brantford and Ryan Pichette of Tillsonburg. Proud grandfather of Riley, Reese, Emilee, Abby, Connor, Paige, Haylee, Aubree and Alex. Born in Errington, Ontario north of Sudbury on January 16, 1953, son of Ann Fisher of Tillsonburg and Arnold Pichette(Ruth) of Tillsonburg. Son-in-law of Beverly Burnham of Aylmer and the late Donald Burnham. Brother of Danny(Connie), Sam(Kevin), Derek, Mary Joe(Dave), Holly(Eric), Bonnie(Rob). Predeceased by his brother Robbie. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Ray was a faithful member of the Catholic Parishes and music programs. He had great joy playing guitar for Masses in Langton, Walsh, Tillsonburg, Hagersville and Aylmer. Ray loved teaching children music. He owned and operated Wreck-A-Mend Autobody for many years. He also enjoyed restoring classic cars. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer for visitation on Friday January 7 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. (COVID rules will apply and Proof of Vaccination is required.) A private family funeral service will be held on Saturday January 8, 2022 at 11:00 am. Cremation-burial Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
