Obituary
Raymond Lozinski of Dauphin, Manitoba passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the age of 87 years.
Ray Lozinski was born October 16, 1934 in Cudworth, SK. Afterwards he lived in Ochre River, MB and in Dauphin, MB. He worked in Ochre River as a farmer for 20 years. He moved to Dauphin and became an ice maker at the curling rink for 14 years. His hobbies included playing cards, golfing and curling.
Every memory or experience he had in his life was very important to him. His wedding was important to him. He got married in 1966 and all of his family and friends attended. The event was important to him because it changed his lifestyle.
His favorite, most treasured objects were his trophies from curling and golfing. They were important to him because he liked sports. He won them in several matches. He curled in the Makinak Bonspiel, which he won in 1971. This brought back fond memories. He also golfed in the Shilo Pro Am with pro Kelly Murray from BC. Most of his curling was done in Ochre River and Dauphin. The trophies will be passed down to other winners of curling and golfing in the future.
In accordance with Ray’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.
