Obituary
Raymond Good of Steeves Mountain passed away on Dec. 26, 2022 at the age of 93.
Formerly from River Glade, Raymond & his wife Reta (2015) built their family home in Steeves Mountain where they lived for 67+ years, raising their family of 5 children, Raymond operated a hobby farm until 2018 when his health declined.
Raymond retired from Coop Atlantic Feed Mill early in 1990 where he worked his way up from mill-hand to plant superintendent.
Raymond is survived by his son Jack of Moncton; 4 daughters: Wanda Good Colwell (Chris) of Lutes Mountain, Janice Killam (Orland) of Berry Mills, Marlene Good-Rozee (Ed Gallagher) of Moncton, and Sandra Sullivan (Peter) of Round Rock, Texas. Also by his adoring 11 grandchildren: Kelly Hicks Vautour (Stéphane), Tara Read (Mike), Scott Killam (Aimee), Holly Pomerleau (Dave), Zach Killam (Brea), Stacey Rozee (Ryan Peck), Michael Rozee (Andrea), Jordan Rozee (Jessica), Alyssa Robertson (Trevor), Myranda Sullivan (Christian Polak), Josh Sullivan (Emily), and several great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Reta (Murray) in 2015, brothers William “Bill” Good (Florence), Ed Good (Mary), and sister Eleanor Colpitts (Doc).
Visitation with the family will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022 from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Life Service for Raymond will be held at New Hope Community Church (47529 Homestead Road) on Friday, Dec. 30, 2022 at 11:30 am. Reception following. Private family burial service will happen at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
