Raymond Burns Monday January 3rd 2022

Raymond Burns, 95, of Cornwall passed away peacefully at Riverdale Terrace January 3rd 2022. Born in Cardinal, he was the son of the late Ethel and George Burns. A man who never ventured far from home, he did have a passion for the outdoors. A man who loved a day spent on the river, a day hunting with the boys and in his early days, an accomplished piper marching with both the Maxville and Legion bands. Predeceased by his wife Lila Service, and infant daughter Dawn. He leaves behind 3 children, Cheryl VanOrder (Brian), Bob (Kim), and Brian (Karen). His loving grandchildren, Christopher, Kimberley, Joel, Jenna, Karlee, Taylor, and Troy, and a very proud Great Grampa to 9 beautiful little ones, Liam, Rylan, Abbigale, Grayson, Maxim, Madeleine, Kalyah, Graysen, Brooklyn, Brady, and Blake. You will be so dearly missed. In keeping with Ray’s wishes, a private family service will take place to honour his life. Memorial donations to Diabetes Canada (diabetes.ca/) would be appreciated by family and friends.
