Ray William STOCK 2022

STOCK: Ray William, 80, of Shakespeare, passed away peacefully with family by his side at Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday March 2, 2022.
He was born at Stratford on November 11, 1941 a son of the late Albert and Marjorie (Scheerer) Stock.
Ray served on the Kitchener and Waterloo Regional Police Forces for 14 years then farmed for 35 years in North Easthope Township, then drove for Steed Standard Transport, Stratford until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Isobel (Gowlett) Stock whom he married at Stratford on July 4, 1964; his son, Michael and wife Kim Stock; his daughter, Kimberley “Kim” and husband Allen Burgess; five grandchildren, Riley, Tyler and Kyle Stock; Jessica and Carolyn Burgess; his sister, Lorraine Gingerich; sisters-in-law, Marlene Scheerer and Noreen “Rene” Liedtke.
He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth A. Scheerer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Brian Gingerich, Patricia Crocker (Carl), June MacAlpine (Bruce), Fred Liedtke (Gerry Price).
Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 1 – 4 p.m. A graveside service and interment of cremated remains will be in St. Andrews Cemetery, North Easthope in the spring.
