Sterrett, Ray Howard – 94, Loch Lomond,
Richmond Co. It is with deep regret that we announce
the passing of Ray Howard Sterrett on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at
home. Ray was born in Wyoming, USA and grew up in Medicine Bow,
USA.
After completing school, Ray worked for Marathon Oil as an
electrician. He met his wife, Kristina whom he married in 1962.
Together they operated the R.V. Park, Trailer City in Sioux City.
After selling the R.V. park they built their own motor home,
travelling the lower 48 American states and most of Canada. Along
their travels, the fell in love with Cape Breton where they decided in
1996 to stay for the rest of their lives.
Ray was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Kristina and son
Albert Michael. He is survived by grandsons, Brandon and Eric Sterrett
of Nebraska, USA.
There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. A
private burial will take place at a later date in MacKeigan Cemetery,
Lake Uist. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Ray to a
