Obituary
Randy William Woodworth, age 62 passed away on July 10, 2022 in St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto.
Taken from us much too soon, he is survived by his best friend & partner of 13 years, Vivian Schmidt, his father
George Thomas, brother Glenn (Crystal), sister Sharlene Prosdocimi (Paul), daughter Samantha and numerous
nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Shirley (nee Marks) as well as both maternal and paternal grandparents. He
will be deeply missed by his loving & loyal fur companions Milo & Toulouse whom Randy simply adored.
Randy loved to spend his time enjoying the great outdoors and appreciating the simple things in life. He could
usually be found hiking with Milo, boating, backcountry camping with Viv or out enjoying a ride on his bike. He
was a lover of music, enjoyed playing the guitar and would be the life of the party while having others sing along.
Randy spent the majority of his employment years following the family lead working in the automatic door industry;
most recent being a 20-year career with Stanley Access Technologies. He took great pride in his work and made
many good friends along the way. If your day crossed paths with Randy, you were guaranteed a smile and he was
sure to make your day a little brighter.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses on the Trauma and Neurosurgery Intensive Care Unit at St.
Michael’s for their compassionate care.
A drop in Celebration of Life will be held at The Loyal Order of the Moose, 3753 Lake Shore Blvd W, Etobicoke, ON,
on Wednesday July 20th between the hours of 1:00 – 4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Ontario SPCA & Humane Society.
