Obituary of Ralph Williams MacKenzie
MacKENZIE, Ralph Williams – of Codrington, entered into rest at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH), on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022, at the age of 81. Dear son of the late John & Jennie MacKenzie (nee Semple), of Upper Montague, P.E.I. Cherished husband of Valerie MacKenzie (nee Swarbrick), for 39 years. Dear father of Keith Bell (Marilyn Rowe). Ralph will be missed by his two brothers; Ian MacKenzie and Dan MacKenzie (Louise). Also lovingly remembered by his nieces; (late Leslie), Tanya (Dave), Joanne (Sean), great-nieces; Megan & Madison, great-nephews; Cole & Ryan, and by his aunt, cousins, extended family, and friends. Ralph’s wishes were to be cremated and that his family celebrates his life in Prince Edward Island where he was born and raised. Ralph enjoyed many years traveling as a long-distance truck driver and was able to prove his teachers wrong by earning a living “looking through a window”. His wife Valerie was able to join him on many of his trips. Ralph loved spending time with his family, especially all the kids. He will be missed. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to The Kidney Foundation, SickKids Foundation, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, Belleville (613-968-2273).
