Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Monday, April 18, 2022, Priscilla Mary Peters (nee Buote) passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was aged 85 years of St. Charles and formerly Egmont Bay. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Lester John.
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beautiful, sweet, adoring mom. She is loved deeply and will be profoundly missed by her children, Karen (Tom), Judy (Don), Ronnie (Theresa), Randy, Ricky (Cathy), Ivan (Michelle) and Stephen (Melissa). Also, missed by her grandchildren, Kaitlin, Erin, Ryan, Riley, Nikki, Megan, Eric, Dylan, Jordan, Cory, Matt, Harley, Jesse, Faith and Josie as well fifteen great-grandchildren. Mom was a quiet, gentle, kind and most generous person. Everyone was made to feel welcome and at home. Friends always had a place to stay and a home cooked meal. She was a brave, strong woman who loved us with all of her being. And we loved her just as well. She passed away after having fought her battle with cancer with dignity and grace. She was surrounded and held close by the love of her family until the end.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 4-7pm. A funeral mass will take place at the St. Charles Roman Catholic Church on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11:00am with interment will follow in the church cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Priscilla can be made to the Eastern Kings Health Foundation (Souris Hospital) and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
