Outre sa conjointe, il laisse dans le deuil ses fils Matthieu Poirier , Jonathan Poirier (Meggie Plouffe), ses petits-enfants Frédéric, Alexis, Elie, Aaron, Sara, ses frères et sa soeur René, Ginette, Jacques, ses beaux-frères, belles-soeurs, parents et amis.
Afin de respecter les volontés du défunt, il n’ y aura pas de rituel funéraire.
