My deepest condolences, Maureen, Terry and family, and also to Bill, Cindy and family. I will always remember Doug as such a cheerful, friendly young man, and enjoyed seeing him at family events. I am so happy that he had a life of enjoying his favourite things, and meeting life long friends along the way. Keep him always in your heart, and speak of him often. Know that he is just a gentle thought away. Love and hugs to you all, using this sad and difficult time.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear about Doug’s passing. When I worked at Haldane Doug used to come to my office quite often to visit and later whenever I met him he would always stop for a chat. When he lived next door to the curling rink he used to stop in to visit when I was volunteering in the concession. Also saw him when we went skiing at Sun Peaks. He was always smiling and happy and had a story or two to tell. My condolences to Maureen & Terry and Bill & Cindy and all his siblings and family, there will be a big whole in that family. Hugs to all. Diana Endean

We are so very sorry for your/our loss. Dougie always came and visited with a big smile and a curiosity of what uncle Howard was up to in the shop. He was kind and enjoyed a good laugh. We will miss him.
