PIERRE MICHEL
1945 – 2022
Mr. Pierre Michel, at the age of 77, passed away peacefully at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Monday, June 20, 2022 with his family by his side.
Pierre was born in Quebec on February 8, 1945. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1963 to 1965. He then began in the forest industry and ended his career with Kimberley-Clark. Pierre’s love of the outdoors, fishing & hunting was where he was at peace. A breaker of the rules, even for card games was passed on down even to the youngest of his grandchildren. His devilish spirit will be remembered by all who met him.
Pierre is survived by his wife of 56 years, Suzanne; his children-Andre (Donna), Dany (Marla) and Pierre Jr; Grandchildren-Damien, Josse, Angie, Sheridan & Cody; Great-grandchildren-Kyra, Emmett, Taylor & Logan; His siblings-Claude, Jacques, Andre, Louise, Francine and Lucie. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Albertine.
A private celebration of life and interment will take place at a later date. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Pierre to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
