Hepton, Phyllis M.
February 16, 1927 – October 13, 2022
Phyllis passed away peacefully in the Perth hospital on Thursday October 13th, 2022 at the age of 95 years. She was the eldest daughter of Lloyd and Edith Bolton, sister of Everett (Patricia) Bolton and Norma (Jack) Cutbill. Phyllis was married to her late husband Everett for 68 years. She was the dearly loved mother of Victor (Joanne) Hepton and Joseph Hepton; cherished grandmother to Sara (David) Jones and Richard (Chrissy) Hepton ; great grandmother to Wesley and Logan Hepton, Kadin and Hana Jones. She was sister in law to Enid and the late Clarence, Austin, Ralph, Olive and Shirley. Phyllis will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was a lifetime member of the United Church Women. She lived with her son Joe at Pike Lake and enjoyed many summers with her family at the old cottage. Phyllis’s interests included the enjoyment of curling, gardening and traveling.
Family and friends will gather at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Tuesday October 18th, 2022 for a service to be held in the chapel at 10:30 A.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. She will be interred in the Scotch Line Cemetery beside her husband Everett. In memory of Phyllis, donations to St. Paul’s United Church, Perth would be appreciated.
