Phyllis Rebecca (Brewer) Morehouse
1922-2022
Phyllis R. Morehouse of Zealand passed away at her home on April 21,
2022. She was born on October 7, 1922 at Brewers Mills, NB, a
daughter of the late Herman and Hepsie (Estey) Brewer.
She enjoyed planting and caring for flowers, sewing, attending craft
sales, dancing, shopping, baking and attending family functions.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Brenda Hanson (Howard), Douglas,
NB; a granddaughter Rhonda Sussey (Jason), Fredericton, NB; a grandson
David Hawkins (Jasmina), Fredericton, NB; a great granddaughter Alana;
two great grandsons Brandon and Ashton; a brother Leo Brewer, Brewers
Mills, NB; a sister-in-law Lois Godsoe; several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Garnet
Morehouse; two sisters Leota Forbes-Hill and Doris Hanson; a brother
Gerald Brewer; three brothers-in-law, Herbie Forbes, Neville Hill and
Ashley Hanson; and a son-in-law Brian Hawkins.
Visitation was held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive,
Nackawic, NB on Monday, April 25, 2022. A private family funeral
service followed with Rev. Terry Brewer officiating. A eulogy was
delivered by Phyllis’ granddaughter Rhonda. Interment took place at
St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery.
