Phyllis’ Obituary
Phyllis Muriel Muise
February 28, 1938 – December 23, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, Phyllis Muise of Yarmouth. Mom passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late John and Muriel Mansfield.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Diane (Tyler) and Donna (John); her sons, Gary (Pam), Greg (Tobi) and David; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great-grandchild.
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Thomas; daughter, Patrica.
Mom’s sweet smile and gentle nature will be missed and forever loved. She was small but mighty, living independently until falling ill with COVID. After moving to town, from Tusket, she met special and loving friends in her apartment building. Our family is thankful for those ladies…our mother loved you. A special thanks go out to the nurses and doctors, on 4th floor North, that cared for her in the Yarmouth Hospital. Besides loving her family and friends fiercely, Mom loved cats.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. If you would like to donate in Phyllis’s memory we suggest Minnies Feline Friends c/o Minnie Atkinson, P.O. Box 375, Clark’s Harbour, N.S. BOW 1P0 (or e-transfer to them: wieseds@hotmail.com).
