Phyllis L Bowser 1925 2022

Phyllis L. Bowser, 97 years, of Riverview passed away at her
residence with family by her side on Saturday, October 29, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late Abel and Lena Jones of
Boundary Creek. She was a graduate of the Provincial Normal School and
had taught in Boundary Creek and Petitcodiac. She was a member of the
St. Paul’s United Church. Phyllis was a member of the United Church
Women and had taught Sunday School as well as a choir member.
Phyllis is survived by sons, Les, Eric (Wanda), and Don all of
Ontario, Bob (Denise) of Moncton; daughter, Diane with whom she lived
and also by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is
also survived by a sister, Edith Hoar; niece, Linda Colbert; nephew,
Stephen Hoar (Gail).
Besides her parents she was
predeceased by her husband Frank L. Bowser in 1976 and her brother
Donald in 1941.
At her request, a private family graveside
service will be held.
Interment will be held at the
Boundary Creek Cemetery.
Donations in Phyllis’ memory made
to the Canadian Kidney Foundation, or to the Friends of the Moncton
Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
The family
wish to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Marc Dorval, Dr.
Jennifer Sinclair, and their staff and the extra mural team for all
their care and comfort.
