Passed away on Sunday, October 30, after a courageous battle with cancer, Ann Philomena Perry (nee Whelan).
Leaving to mourn, her devoted husband of 52 years, Don, her loving daughter, Donna Kelly (Craig), her pride and joy grandsons Michael and Sean, brother Bill Whelan (Lillian), her sisters Deborah Martin (Kurt) and Rosalita Lacey, and brother-in-law Pat Hagerty, nieces and nephews, family and a large circle of friends in Newfoundland and Fort Myers, Florida.
Phil was predeceased by her mother Florence (nee Sullivan), her father Leo, her sisters Doreen, Judy, Mary (Fred Ryan), and brother-in-law Gerard Lacey.
Phil loved walking the trails of St. John’s, golfing and socializing with friends and family. She especially loved to travel the world and visited over 30 countries. She also loved her time at Seven Lakes in Fort Myers. Phil loved to golf, the after-golf beer, the walking our community, the dances and socializing with all her friends there.
Thank you to the nurses and staff at The Palliative Care Unit of The Miller Centre, who gave such good care and treated all of us with kindness and understanding during her week there.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday November 1,2022 from 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – to 9pm. A celebration of Phil’s life will be held at Caul’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at l0am.
