PRENTICE, Philip James (Jim)
February 3, 1949 – August 19, 2022
Passed away August 19, 2022 at the age of 73. Beloved spouse of Cheryle. Father of Jennifer (Adrian) Diett, and Scott Prentice. Uncle to Barb and many nieces and nephews. Brother of Helen, Phyliss, Pat (Sue), Lenore (Fred), John and Kathy (Al). Predeceased by Judy, Dave and Maureen. Brother in law to Betty O’Brien, Gloria Lincoln and Leslie Meszares. His fur babies Evie and Daisy will miss him.
Jim worked for General Motors for 40 years. He owned Park View Lanes and, for 5 years, he was the owner of Walkerville Trade Centre on Ottawa Street as well. A talented guitarist and campfire enthusiast, Jim had a love for classic cars, starting with his 1967 Cougar.
Thank you to Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus ER and ICU staff that cared for Jim and our family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Windsor Es Humane Society would be appreciated. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Road East, 519-253-7234.
