Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Philip Nathaniel Simms announce his peaceful passing at the Cowichan Hospice Centre in Duncan, BC at the age of 89.He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter Phylis, Poppy Phil’s girl Jennifer Lake (Chris) and Pop’s boy Colin Payne(Ruby), his precious great-grandchildren Vinol Arseneau and Rosie and Farley Payne, his best friend and partner Grace Scott and her family; sisters in law Lorraine Simmsm Amelia simms and Lynette Dunne Lake (Doug), his brothers in law Fred Brown, John Dunne (Doris), Ralph Dunne (Agnes) and Ron Dunne (Bonnie) as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Betty, daughter Marilyn, parents Fred and Louisa Simms, his parents in law John and Gertrude dunne, his sister Mary Brown and his brothers John (Lyra), Don, Max (Winnie) and Fred Jr; Son-in-law, Pete Duffy.
As per his wishes his body has been cremated and the family will be holding a Celebration of Life this summer.
