Obituary for
Philip George Gould
It is with great sadness that the family of Philip George Gould announces his passing on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, age 81, of Belleoram.
Philip is sadly missed by his wife, Hilda; sons, Robert (Heather) and Michael (Alysn); daughter, Crystal (Stephen); his nine grandchildren; plus a number of other relatives and friends.
Philip was born in Belleoram, the first born, to Simeon and Selina Gould. He had two sisters and a brother; Sophie, Marie and Michael. Philip was an avid outdoors man and spent a lot of time at his cabin on the Bay du Nord River. He would spend four to five hours at a time fishing and was lucky to always land his salmon. He began his working life with Naval Research. He then moved on to Air Canada where he worked as a computer technician. After that he returned with his family to Belleoram and operated the fish plant. Later he operated his own enterprise fishing lobster and scallop. From there Philip returned to school completing a 3-year electronics course in two years achieving the highest marks in his class. He started the Electronics Shop repairing and servicing virtually all types of electronic equipment. Eventually Philip went on to operate his grocery store where he finished off his career.
Funeral service to be announced later.
We love and miss you, DAD and POP, until we meet again!
