Philip Dowie
1956-2022
In the early morning of May 3, 2022, Philip Dowie was
welcomed into his heavenly home. Not because of his many kind
deeds, but because he was a sinner saved by grace. His desire
would be that each one of you would know of God’s abundant
love, God’s amazing grace, and His gift of
salvation.
Philip was born in Northern Ireland on June 22, 1956 and was
the son of the late Robert and Irene Dowie. Besides his parents, he
was also predeceased by his brother, Stephen Dowie and sister, Joanna
Dowie.

his children, Jill and Andy McDade and their daughter, Victory of
Bradford Rhode Island, and Seth and Keely Dowie and their daughter
Iceseas of Surf City, NC; his siblings, Paul and Diane Dowie of Lower
Sackville, NS, Sharon Gallagher of Lanham, MD, Debbie and Dean Somers
of Magog, QC, Joy and Dave Kearley of Paris, ON, Melody and Mike
Booker of South Paris, ME; his father and mother-in-law, Carl and
Peggy Ullman of Sharon Springs, NY; several nieces and
nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Britton
Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland, from 5-8 p.m. The funeral
