1946-2022
It is with deepest sorrow that the family announces the passing of
Petrechia P. Gaynor, 75, of Lutes Mountain. She passed away peacefully
on Friday June 10, 2022. She was the daughter of the late William and
Emelda (Hebert) Gaynor.
Petrechia was formerly employed at the Moncton Post Office and at the
T. Eaton Co. Ltd.,though the job she was most appreciated for was
babysitter to all of her grandchildren. Petrechia’s love of
music saw her singing in the band The Sweet 2 Plus 4, at many family
gatherings and constantly around the house. Her other hobbies included
puzzles, gardening, bowling, reading, baking, pickling, crocheting and
socializing with family and friends.
Petrechia is survived by her husband, Ronald M. MacKinnon; children,
Darren, Shannon (David Cox) and Tammy (Brian Breau); grandchildren,
Kamécha, Hayden and Paige; sisters Margaret Woodman, Carolyn
Gaynor both of Steeves Mountain, Barbara Gaynor of Moncton and many
nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John,
and sisters; Janette, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Jacqueline and Helen.
As per Petrechia’s wishes, there will be no visitation nor
funeral service. Interment will be at Fair Haven Memorial
Gardens.
In her memory, donations can be made to a charity or memorial of the
donor’s choice.
Arrangements are under the care of Maillet Funeral Home,
Bouctouche.
