Peter Jerry Hart 1937 2022

Obituary of Peter Jerry Hart
Hart, Peter Jerry – Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, February 18th, 2022. Predeceased by his loving wife Barbara (nee Benn), his father Wilson, mother Letty (nee Watson), sisters Margaret Stewart and Helen Fraser and his brother John. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his loving friends and family.
Special thanks to the St. Elizabeth and Bayshore PSW’s, his nurse Alice, palliative care physician Dr. Bagg and associates, as well as Dr. Weiss.
Peter was a kind, generous man who was full of life. He made everyone’s life better just by knowing him. He may be gone in body but his “wicked” sense of humour will live on in his friends and family forever.
A visitation will be held at the James Reid Funeral Home at 1900 John Counter Blvd on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 1:00pm. A funeral service in the Chapel will be held at 2:00pm with burial to follow at Cataraqui Cemetery. Space for the Chapel service is limited; friends and family wishing to attend are asked to call the funeral home at 613-544-3411 or email info@jamesreidfuneralhome.com to reserve a place. Masks and social distancing are still required for those attending.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kingston Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by Peter’s family.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Peter
